His show also featured an aviation theme: "the urban jet set." Gliding down a runway painted with a landing strip, the models wore glittery jewel-tone dresses in silk chiffon, taffeta, satin, and tulle. The best of these, an obsidian-gray chiffon gown with chinchilla sleeves and a plunging neckline, evoked Audrey Hepburn or Grace Kelly, and earned Hall, whose fans included Garcelle Beauvais, Tisha Campbell, and Hayden Panettiere, one of the week's few standing ovations.
