Fashion and Style/ Louis Vuitton

Fashion and Style show March 2007. Marc Jacobs now in his tenth year at Louis Vuitton had a knowing tag for the season. He called it girl with a monogram hand bag. At the end of the show, which also featured a plethora of references at Jacobs previous LV outings. All he would declare was clothes and more clothes. Also on the runway was leather circle skirts and loose backed jackets falling in a curve at the back and a great oversize blue gray sweater over slim plants.

Fashion and Style/ Jason Wu

Fashion and Style show New York February 2007 the Jason Mu collection. On the runway he had a strapless cocktail piece and several belted coats were dresses down in a fine basket weave fabric that mimicked dark denim. Metal buttons peeked from beneath plackets, half exposed for a bit of whimsy, and the lines of a potential stuffy dress were broken in the back with soft pleats.
